MEDHAVI SKILLS UNIVERSITY (SIKKIM), a state enacted Private University of Sikkim, was established with the passage of The Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act, 2021 in the Sikkim State Legislative Assembly (Sikkim Act 12 of 2021) notified in the Gazette vide No 156 dated 24thJune, 2021 for conducting various Degree/ Diploma program. Besides vocational education and training, having its Head Office at Topakhani, Lower Chisopani, PO: Singtam, District – East Sikkim,Sikkim – 737134, represented by its Founder Chancellor Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has been founded by a group of IIT and Stanford University Alumni. It strives to bring convergence of the skilling ecosystem with the higher education tracks.

MSU is promoted by Medhavi Foundation – a not-for-profit higher education and skill development organization impacting more than 50,000 youths annually via various government-sponsored and corporate-sponsored skill training programs via its 100+ chain of skill training and education centers across 12 states in India. MSU aims to pioneer the university model, where corporate and industry associations are the influencers in course curriculum design, program delivery, practical skills training as well as for providing on-the-job (apprenticeship/internship) training.
