Cavendish University Zambia (CUZ), established in 2004, is the first private university in Zambia. It is registered under the Higher Education Act No. 4 of 2013 of the Laws of Zambia to offer programs from Certificate to Doctoral degree. CUZ offers high-quality education with a student-centric academic model that incorporates innovation and global best practices in its teaching methods, philosophy, operations, and organization.

Their lecturers and professors are trained to facilitate learning in innovative, participatory, active, and practical ways. CUZ utilises a learning management technology platform (CULP) that supports blended learning, flipped classrooms, projects, case studies, distance learning, and other forms of effective, collaborative, and active learning.

CUZ offers accredited and market-relevant academic programs through its four schools:

  1. School of Medicine
  2. School of Law
  3. School of Business and Information Technology
  4. School of Arts, Education, and Social Sciences

Each school is dedicated to fulfilling the University’s mission to transform and inspire students to reach their full potential in employment, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership. Additionally, their distance learning program enables you to study from anywhere, whether in Zambia or abroad.
